The Journey So Far
A New Chapter for Heaton Road For years, Jamia Usmania has served as a spiritual anchor in Bradford. Today, we are moving from a converted space into a purpose-built, state-of-the-art Islamic Centre. This project isn’t just about bricks and mortar; it’s about creating an environment where our children can learn, our elderly can find comfort, and our community can thrive.
The Story of the Build: What began as an ambitious plan for the site of the former Fountain Inn has now become a visible reality. We have successfully cleared the site, secured the foundations, and erected the massive steel skeleton that defines the footprint of our new home.

What We Have Achieved Together
Thanks to your unwavering support, we have successfully navigated the most difficult stages of construction:
✅ Phase 1: The Foundation (Completed/Near Completion) We have poured the foundations, built the basement retaining walls, and installed the structural stairs. The full steel frame of the site is now standing tall.
Total Investment: £645,000 (£537,000 already paid).
🚀 Phase 2: The Core Structure (Current Focus) We are now entering the most exciting stage. This phase will see the building “filled in” as we:
Pour concrete for all three main floors.
Finalize the exterior of our signature Dome.
Requirement: £100,000.
⏳ Phase 3: The Exterior Shell (Upcoming) The final major structural push involving exterior masonry, high-efficiency windows, and secure doors to make the building watertight.
